Argent Staff Recognized for Service

Seven staff members of Argent Financial Group, Inc., have been promoted in recognition for their expertise in providing trust and investment services to clients, Argent's Board of directors announced.

"Our most valuable asset continues to be our staff," said Argent President and CEO, Kyle McDonald.

"The the promotions being announced have been earned by these staff members and we also recognize that they, in full concert with our entire staff, are the reason for our success."

Gary Moore, is promoted to Senior Vice President/Employee Benefits and Regional Manager for the Shreveport office.

Gary, a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, has been providing employee benefit solutions to businesses in the Shreveport area for over 23 years. He is recognized specifically for his abilities in designing, implementing and administering a full menu of retirement plans and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).

Mary Johns is promoted to Senior Vice President and Personal Trust Manager for Argent Trust, a division of National Independent Trust Company, an Argent Financial Group subsidiary.

With over 20 years expereince in trust and investment management, Mary holds certification from the Advanced School for Trust Professionals and is a Chartered Mutual Funds Counselor. 
Mary's responsibilities include personal trust administration for Argent Trust accounts and estate administration.

Lana Wade, a Certified Corporate Trust Specialist, has been named Vice President and Institutional Services Officer. Lana, a Louisiana Tech University and Cannon Financial School graduate, is responsible for the administration and operations of Argent's indenture trustee, paying agent and registrar, and custodial services provided to Louisiana municipalities and political subdivisions as well as national foundations and charities.
